Mary Blachly’s journey in senior care began at a young age, working as a Certified Nurse Aide in a long-term care facility while still in high school. Later, she became the primary caregiver for her own mother, managing her supportive living needs, including home adaptations, transportation, and medical appointments. Drawing on her background as an Occupational Therapist, Mary was able to guide her mother through the complexities of community living, ensuring her care aligned with her vision for her final years.
With over 26 years of experience in acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, and skilled home health settings before coming to CareStreet, Mary is now dedicated to sharing her knowledge and expertise with other families facing similar transitions.
Mary holds a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from The University of Kansas Medical Center. Her holistic philosophy focuses on serving “the whole person,” addressing not only their physical needs but also their emotional and social well-being. She approaches care with compassion, asking, “What do you need, and how can we make it happen?”
Mary is committed to being a beacon of support, providing reassurance and guidance throughout the journey of transitional living. Her mission is to ensure that families and their loved ones feel valued, supported, and cared for at every step.
